NET will NEVER work on a customer if his workstation does not have the EXACT SAME version of the runtime than the one i used for compiling the c# program. I have been struggling for the past 20 years installing / deinstalling / reverting back to old version and then forward to new version in my development environment because c# programs compiled with version X of the Crystal Report for. Can someone explain how versioning works for the runtime engine please.
